a porcelain bloom has shattered and
what was delicate has hardened over
pieces stolen, others forgotten,
forgive me, do i forgive you?
my breath has become a spectator to
the rain that falls from my eyes
two drops that became the flood t
hat i have since drowned in
a part of me has died
in the storm i cannot forget
and i am alone without skin
only a thousand porcelain pieces
within memory i wish for solace to bind myself
but these moments slip
like tides do at a distant shore
i yearn for more time
i need time to find the healing sky
a vessel once of hope
now only scars and shame
my hands hurt
my face is lonely
and my eyes have seen enough
what was delicate has hardened over
pieces stolen, others forgotten,
forgive me, do i forgive you?
my breath has become a spectator to
the rain that falls from my eyes
two drops that became the flood t
hat i have since drowned in
