i am a transdisciplinary dance artist from illinois, based in philadelphia, pa
i make art that imagines the body as fluid and unfixed
constantly evolving
always reshaping and resisting
i am drawn to the space found in between the gaps where meaning disappears and curiosity begins
it is in these spaces that the body speaks
whispers and gestures that shout truths of endless possibility
i imagine through dance a sort of boundlessness—of what the body can become
movement becomes a dialogue
between self and other / the visible and the hidden / the material and the other
i let my body lead so i can traverse the unknown
